A glove can be devised for every separate job or professional segment. The question is whether the glove will be very effective and will remain affordable. Well, the latter is usually not that big of a problem… the effectiveness is usually a more painful question. How well do gloves perform ?

There are quite a few brands that sell this product, but most of it is made of the cheap and weak stainless steel 304. As soon as one works with oysters and gets a little bit of seawater over it, it is oxidized an hour later, albeit hardly visible, however most steel gloves on the market can then be thrown away after 4 to 5 days because of the extensive rust.   The Stainless Steel gloves from SurvivalJack are made of the stainless steel type Monell 500 and Inconell 625.These types of stainless steel are not only much harder because of their higher carbon content, but also many times more resistant to corrosion due to the 4 to 5-fold chromium content in the steel !
